Happy New Year

Happy New Year to all!  When my dad was growing up, his large family would ring in the new year with a celebratory drink of cherry brandy before breakfast.  His father would go around the table and pour each family member a small glass.  Once everyone was served, they raised their glasses and toasted the new year.  As a child, we celebrated this time of year the same way and now that I have my own child, we are continuing the tradition.

Entranced by rural and urban decay. I am drawn to these forlorn sites because they emote conflicting sentiments of beauty and disintegration.
