Close-Up, Landscapes, Nature, Ocean

My son and I went beach combing while the tide was at its lowest the other day. I noticed sea life clinging to absolutely everything; coating uprooted trees, discarded garbage and the ocean floor. As we walked out to the edge of the ocean, the crunching underfoot reminded me of stopping to break through ice crusted puddles as I walked to school as a young girl.
