Peacock and Ducks

With Easter quickly approaching, I thought these two images fitting to illustrate Spring has arrived.  The vivid colors are cheerful after a dreary winter.

March Mash Up Skate Jam

This fantastic event took place March 23/13 in the Regular Underground and Sidestep parking lot.  Amidst the flurry of activity, this boy’s talent shone brightly.  Featured below are the skateboard stylings of a young Mr. Johnson.

Stained Light

Cherubs

These little angels were initially painted as chubby nudes; however, such illustrations were not acceptable in the early 1900’s.  So the artist, father Charles Maillard, covered them up with wisps of flowing fabric.

Repetition

I am very much attracted to repeating visual elements within a composition; hence my post for today.  My eye is lead across the form in a smooth motion, resulting in a fluid rhythm within the image.
