The first image I took as the sun was dipping down behind the giant Douglas Firs on the Royal Roads grounds, giving the stone a warm glow. The second, I shot moments after the sun had completely dissapeared behind the trees and building, resulting in a colder image.

Entranced by rural and urban decay. I am drawn to these forlorn sites because they emote conflicting sentiments of beauty and disintegration.
