Sooke River

Landscapes, Nature

We have had a very dry summer; consequently, the river’s water level is low.  During the wet season, the rocky formations I photographed are submerged by the raging waters of the river.   The dry weather has given me the opportunity to clamber up and down the rocky river banks with my family one gorgeous evening to explore the riverside.

Entranced by rural and urban decay. I am drawn to these forlorn sites because they emote conflicting sentiments of beauty and disintegration.
