Goodwin House at Saskatchewan Landing

Architecture, Historical Site, Landscapes

This is Goodwin House, located on the banks of the South Saskatchewan River at a place called Saskatchewan Landing. This is a favorite spot for us to get out of the car and stretch our legs when we make our journey from my home town to my husband’s family farm.

I shot the images making up the final HDR image this summer and I finally got around to working with it and experimenting with various Photoshop actions.

Entranced by rural and urban decay. I am drawn to these forlorn sites because they emote conflicting sentiments of beauty and disintegration.
