Dragonfly

Close-Up, Macro, Nature

I found this dragonfly stuck in a spider’s web, trying in vain to free itself. I managed to set it free only to notice that he or she was unable to fly away. Upon closer inspection, I realized it had a twig stuck in one of its wings. Of course, I grabbed my camera and snapped a few pics before gently removing the twig. It immediately flew up high to the safety of the tree branches.

Entranced by rural and urban decay. I am drawn to these forlorn sites because they emote conflicting sentiments of beauty and disintegration.
