Night Sky

Architecture, Gravelbourg, Landscapes, Rural Decay

This is my first attempt at photographing the night sky. Now that I am back beneath the beautiful Saskatchewan skies permanently, I will be going out to experiment some more. My night-time excursion was unfortunately cut short by a roving skunk. I was standing near my camera in blackness with my phone flashlight illuminating the foreground, when I spotted a little black and white creature running toward me. I immediately left my camera and ran to my car, turned my lights on, and started honking my horn. He turned around and ran back in the direction where he came from. Thankfully, I left the Coppen Bridge untouched.

Entranced by rural and urban decay. I am drawn to these forlorn sites because they emote conflicting sentiments of beauty and disintegration.
