Hunter’s Moon

Landscapes, Moose Jaw, Nature

What a beautiful surprise to see the supermoon two nights ago. I was driving east through the hills of Moose Jaw when I spotted the great glowing orb starting to show itself above the undulating horizon. According to my research, this particular moon is called the Hunter’s Moon as it is the full moon after the Harvest Moon. It was so peaceful sitting on top of the little hill, watching the moon rise and listening to a chorus of coyotes howling in the distance.

Entranced by rural and urban decay. I am drawn to these forlorn sites because they emote conflicting sentiments of beauty and disintegration.
